Growing up in a small town in Arkansas, I always had a love for cooking and especially for barbecue. It was part of the summer tradition where I’m from, and I knew that it was something I wanted to pursue professionally. In 2013, I decided to take a leap of faith and move to Austin, Texas with just $200.00 in my pocket to attend Le Cordon Bleu. Although it was a challenging experience, I knew that my passion for cooking would help me overcome any obstacles that came my way.
